Football Recap: Clermont Northeastern Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Clermont Northeastern played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Williamsburg Wildcats and fell 48-6. The loss continues a trend for the Rockets in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Williamsburg got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Landon Hittle out in front who picked up 109 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 70 yards and one touchdown. Hittle really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 70 yards. Williamsburg also got a significant boost from Gray Robinson, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 120 yards.

Clermont Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Williamsburg, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Clermont Northeastern will square off against Blanchester at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Williamsburg, they will face off against Roger Bacon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
