Bridgman is 9-1 against Our Lady of the Lake Catholic since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Bridgman's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.

Bridgman will bounce into Saturday's game after beating Watervliet, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. Bridgman blew past Watervliet, posting a 76-48 win. The Bees have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 28 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 70-34, which was the final score in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic's tilt against Buchanan two weeks ago. While losing is never fun, the Lakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 506th, while the Bucks are ranked 228th).

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bridgman, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Everything came up roses for Bridgman against Our Lady of the Lake Catholic in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 64-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bridgman since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
