Basketball Recap: Max Keller's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Gilead Christian over Faith Christian Academy

Gilead Christian was the 46-40 winner over Faith Christian Academy when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Gilead Christian Eagles took a 35-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Faith Christian Academy.

Gilead Christian lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Max Keller, who posted ten points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Gage Beacom, who put up nine points.

Gilead Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Faith Christian Academy, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Gilead Christian has already played their next game (against Warsaw W), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Faith Christian Academy will square off against Kingsway Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
