Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Beats Grant for Their Third Straight Victory

Kennedy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Grant Lancers 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Kennedy wouldn't go down easily and took Grant into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-17, 25-21, 16-25, 15-8.

Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 31-9. As for Grant, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-6.

Coming up, Kennedy will take on University at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Grant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
