Math & Science College Preparatory has gone a perfect 7-0 against West Adams recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Sharks will welcome the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Wednesday, Math & Science College Preparatory got the win against Santee by a conclusive 3-0. The Sharks haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, West Adams beat Manual Arts 3-1 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

West Adams had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-21, 26-24, 25-23.

Math & Science College Preparatory's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. As for West Adams, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Math & Science College Preparatory skirted past West Adams 3-2 when the teams last played back in March. Will the Sharks repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
