Football Recap: Patrick Sullivan and Ernesto Grande Lead the Defense for Dos Pueblos Win + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Santa Ynez, Dos Pueblos was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Royal Highlanders a 19-0 shutout. For the Chargers, this counts as revenge for the 20-13 victory the Highlanders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

The win got Dos Pueblos back to even at 1-1. As for Royal, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dos Pueblos will welcome Santa Barbara at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Royal, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Harvard-Westlake at 7:00 p.m. on September 12.
