Baseball Recap: Southridge Comes Up Short

Southridge and Princeton squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Southridge had to settle for second. They fell 6-2 to the Tigers. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Southridge and nudges their season record down to 11-14. As for Princeton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-8.

Southridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Princeton, they will head out on the road to challenge Mt. Carmel at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
