Volleyball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington lost against Columbus back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lexington started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-17, 25-16.

Lexington now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Columbus, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Lexington has already played their next match (against St. Joseph), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Columbus, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Devine on the 14th.
