Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pikes Peak Christian). They were the clear victor by a 56-35 margin over the Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles on Thursday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the War Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Leading Pikes Peak Christian to victory were Megan Ferguson and Bella Fletcher. Ferguson dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds, while Fletcher almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. What's more, Ferguson also posted a 44% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sophie Petersen, who posted six points and five boards.

Pikes Peak Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matches.

Pikes Peak Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Liberty Tree Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Pikes Peak Christian will head out on the road to square off against Cripple Creek-Victor at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Liberty Tree Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Miami-Yoder at 1:00 p.m.
