Basketball Recap: Echo Extends Winning Streak to Six

Echo came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 65-45 margin over the Elgin Huskies. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Echo's win bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Elgin, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-7 record this season.
