Volleyball Recap: Niles West Extends Winning Streak to Three

Niles West won the last time they faced Maine East and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wolves came out on top against the Blue Demons by a score of 2-0. The victory was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on three straight.

Niles West easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19.

Niles West's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-10. As for Maine East, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Niles West will challenge rival Niles North at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Maine East is set to square off against their familiar foe Highland Park at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
