Basketball Recap: St. Luke's Episcopal Takes a Loss

St. Luke's Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 39-32 to the Millry Wildcats. St. Luke's Episcopal was probably out for revenge after losing 74-49 to them when the teams met back in February of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Millry had a senior duo take command as Landon Doggette posted 14 points and Jquan Stewart earned 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for Doggette.

St. Luke's Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Millry, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

St. Luke's Episcopal and Leroy will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Millry, they and Washington County will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
