Soccer Recap: Dayton's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

While Dayton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They skirted past the White Pine Bobcats 2-1. Dayton's winning goal came courtesy of Samantha Jimenez.

The victory (which was Dayton's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five matches. As for White Pine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2-1.
