Softball Recap: Oroville Comes Up Short

Oroville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Republic Tigers, falling 29-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Hornets were not able to get on the board.

Oroville's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Republic, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

While Oroville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
