 Silas had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  an  18-3 margin over the Mount Tahoma T-Birds. The result was nothing new for Silas, who have now won seven contests by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
  Natalie Medalia made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. Medalia has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances. Medalia was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Kaydence Griffith and  Joleen Libhart did most of the damage at the plate:  Griffith  scored five  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances, while  Libhart  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with five  RBI, two  runs,  and a  double. Libhart has been hot recently, having posted three or more  RBI the last three times she's  played.  Ameris Hagen was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances.
 On Mount Tahoma's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kylie Roll, who  went 2-for-3 with a  double.
 Silas is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last ten matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record  this season. As for Mount Tahoma,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-9.
 Silas will be playing at home against Bonney Lake at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Bonney Lake knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past 16 games -- so hopefully Silas likes a good challenge. As for Mount Tahoma, they will head out on the road to  take on  Lakes at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Lakes is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7  runs per game  this season.
