Soccer Recap: Olympic Takes a Loss

Olympic lost against Ardrey Kell back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans came up short against the Knights, falling 10-1. While losing is never fun, Olympic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 360th, while Ardrey Kell are ranked 20th).

Olympic has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-2 record this season. As for Ardrey Kell, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-3.

Coming up, Olympic will challenge West Cabarrus at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Olympic are facing West Cabarrus at the right time seeing as West Cabarrus are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ardrey Kell, they will square off against Palisades at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
