Soccer Recap: Faith Baptist Comes Up Short

Faith Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the State Line Christian Patriots, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Faith Baptist can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 345th, while State Line Christian are ranked 88th).

Faith Baptist's goal came courtesy of Josiah Hoffman, who's now up to two this season.

Faith Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for State Line Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.

Faith Baptist will take on Juniata Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for State Line Christian, they will square off against Freedom Farm Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
