Softball Recap: Bergen Tech Comes Up Short

Bergen Tech came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Passaic County Tech Bulldogs, falling 13-7. The Knights have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Bergen Tech saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Mennella, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Bergen Tech's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Passaic County Tech, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bergen Tech is set to take on their familiar foe Clifton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Passaic County Tech will challenge rival Passaic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
