After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alexandria, West Monroe was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Airline Vikings. This was payback for the Rebels, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

West Monroe's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Airline, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.

West Monroe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-2 win against Ruston on the 25th. As for Airline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-1 victory against Captain Shreve on the 25th.
