Football Recap: Carroll Tigers vs. St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds
Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They and the St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds were almost perfectly matched up, but the Carroll Tigers suffered a 29-28 defeat.
Carroll lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nick Cantu, who threw for 172 yards and a touchdown. Jesse Garcia was in the mix too, providing Carroll with two touchdowns.
Claudio Torres had an outrageously good game for St. Joseph Academy as he rushed for 191 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 86 receiving yards.
