Volleyball Recap: Calamus-Wheatland Comes Up Short

Calamus-Wheatland lost against Cascade back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Cougars.

Calamus-Wheatland has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Cascade, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Calamus-Wheatland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against North Cedar on the 6th. As for Cascade, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Fort Madison on the 6th.
