Basketball Game Preview: Riverside Christian Crusaders vs. Yakama Nation Tribal Eagles

The Riverside Christian Crusaders will challenge the Yakama Nation Tribal Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Riverside Christian came up short against Sunnyside Christian and fell 56-46. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Despite their defeat, Riverside Christian saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jess Bowden, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 15 points, was perhaps the best of all. Micah Morgan was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Meanwhile, Yakama Nation Tribal didn't have too much trouble with Walla Walla Valley Academy on Tuesday as they won 71-54.

Riverside Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Yakama Nation Tribal, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.

Riverside Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Yakama Nation Tribal in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 67-57. Will Riverside Christian repeat their success, or does Yakama Nation Tribal have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
