Softball Recap: Blue Hills RVT Has No Trouble Against Old Colony RVT

Blue Hills RVT won against South Shore Vo-Tech on Tuesday with 18 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Warriors blew past the Old Colony RVT Cougars 18-6. Considering the Warriors have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sydney Cull and Molly Pazyra did most of the damage at the plate: Cull got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two triples, two RBI, and one run, while Pazyra went 4-for-5 with five RBI and two runs. Those two triples gave Cull a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jayden Craft, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.

Blue Hills RVT was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .621. Their batting average was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .476 that Old Colony RVT posted.

The win made it two in a row for Blue Hills RVT and bumps their season record up to 7-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Old Colony RVT, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.
