Softball Game Preview: Oakland Wildcats vs. Oakland Tech Bulldogs

The Oakland Wildcats will face off against the Oakland Tech Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oakland has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Oakland is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with a 17-14 victory over Fremont two weeks ago. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Oakland Tech had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Titans by a score of 9-4.

Oakland's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Oakland Tech, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
