Softball Recap: Harding Raiders vs. Cardinal Mooney Cardinals
Harding was the 14-3 winner over Cardinal Mooney when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday.
Karly Trisler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits.

At the plate, Azarriah Phillips made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Ky'Ziya Minor also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Harding dropped their record down to 4-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Cardinal Mooney, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.
