Basketball Recap: Glencliff Comes Up Short

Glencliff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 79-18 defeat at the hands of the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colts of the 82-39 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Glencliff's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Shelbyville Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Glencliff will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on KIPP Global at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Shelbyville Central, they will challenge Lipscomb Academy at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
