Volleyball Game Preview: Marion Bulldogs vs. Randolph Ro-Hawks

Marion hasn't had much luck against Randolph recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Ro-Hawks at 5:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Marion sitting on nine straight victories and Randolph on four.

On Tuesday, Marion was able to grind out a solid win over Cole, taking the game 3-1.

Marion walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 21-25, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Randolph got the win against Great Hearts Northern Oaks on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Randolph never let Great Hearts Northern Oaks on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-12, 25-12.

Marion's record is now 24-8. As for Randolph, their record now sits at 22-14.

Marion took their win against Randolph in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
