Softball Recap: Capital Christian Cougars vs. Sacramento Dragons        
        
		
            
 Capital Christian can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Sacramento Dragons as the Capital Christian Cougars made off with  a  20-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Capital Christian considering their two-run performance the  match before.
  Kelsey Joiner made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Joiner was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Ayla Tuua was  incredible,  going 2-for-2 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.  Miyani Marshall was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Capital Christian pushed their record up to 8-2 with that  victory, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.9 runs per game. As for Sacramento,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-6.
 Capital Christian will be playing at home against Central Catholic at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Central Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.8  runs per game  this season. As for Sacramento, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rio Americano at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Sacramento has given up an average of 19.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
