Volleyball Recap: Paramount's Losing Streak Snapped at 15 Games

Paramount came into Saturday's match having lost 15 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Cathedral Phantoms by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Pirates were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Phantoms, so the Pirates were just returning the favor.

Paramount not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Cathedral to exactly 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21.

Paramount's victory bumped their record up to 4-20. As for Cathedral, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Paramount didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Maywood CES on the 19th. Cathedral does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
