Basketball Game Preview: Sanford-Fritch Eagles vs. Sunray Bobcats

Sanford-Fritch hasn't had much luck against Sunray recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Sanford-Fritch Eagles will head out to square off against the Sunray Bobcats at 6:15 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sanford-Fritch took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against West Texas by a score of 44-30 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Sunray can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They snuck past West Texas with a 43-38 victory.

Sunray's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-19. As for Sanford-Fritch, their record now sits at 12-8.

Sanford-Fritch strolled past Sunray in their previous matchup on January 3rd by a score of 55-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sanford-Fritch since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
