Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kaylin Wall and Cassidy Murray Lead Ledford to Victory + How To Watch

Ledford had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the East Davidson Golden Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Thursday.

Ledford was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 24-26, 25-17, 25-18.

Ledford was led to victory by Cassidy Murray and Kaylin Wall. Murray had ten digs and two aces, while Wall had ten kills, eight digs, and five aces. Those five aces gave Wall a new career-high. Nicola Simpson was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Ledford's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for East Davidson, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Ledford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Central Davidson on the 26th. As for East Davidson, they will venture away from home to square off against South Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
