Basketball Recap: Paideia Academy Comes Up Short

Paideia Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 64-44 to the Clayton-Bradley Academy Blazers. The Knights were probably out for revenge after losing 68-46 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Clayton-Bradley Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carson Motley led the charge by going 6 for 9 en route to 13 points. Another player making a difference was Grey Andresen, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 10 points and eight boards.

Paideia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Clayton-Bradley Academy, they moved to 3-13 with that win, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Paideia Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-35 defeat against Temple Baptist Academy on the 14th. Clayton-Bradley Academy has also already played their next match, a 49-48 victory against Apostolic Christian Academy on the 14th.
