Soccer Recap: Griswold vs. Killingly
Griswold was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Killingly Redmen. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Wolverines couldn't quite close it out.
Griswold was without their leading scorer, Brayden Weidner, in Friday's game. With Weidner sidelined, Josiah Bomba-Houle got his first action of the season.
Griswold's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15-1. As for Killingly, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-5-3.
As of now, neither Griswold nor Killingly have any future games scheduled.
