Volleyball Recap: Plattsburg Takes a Loss

Plattsburg lost against Rock Port back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Blue Jays by a score of 2-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Allie Stockdale paced Plattsburg's offense, picking up seven kills. Stockdale got some help from Shay Steggall and her 12 assists. Finally, Ava Norton kept Plattsburg's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Plattsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Rock Port, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Plattsburg will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Joseph Christian at 6:30 p.m. As for Rock Port, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Mid-Buchanan on the 30th.
