Basketball Recap: Goddard Communications Arts & Tech Takes a Loss

Goddard Communications Arts & Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 67-22 loss at the hands of Scholars Academy. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 635th, while Scholars Academy are ranked 221st).

Goddard Communications Arts & Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Scholars Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Goddard Communications Arts & Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scholars Academy, they will head out to square off against Martin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Martin has won five straight at home, while Scholars Academy won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
