Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Redhawks vs. Frisco Raccoons

The Liberty Redhawks will venture away from home to face off against the Frisco Raccoons at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Liberty took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They managed a 56-51 win over Emerson.

Meanwhile, Frisco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Memorial, falling 80-60. While losing is never fun, the Raccoons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 757th, while the Warriors are ranked 62nd).

Frisco's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Liberty was able to grind out a solid victory over Frisco when the teams last played back in January of 2022, winning 61-49. Will Liberty repeat their success, or does Frisco have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
