Volleyball Recap: Kingston Comes Up Short

Kingston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Herculaneum Black Cats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-10, 25-20.

Kingston's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Herculaneum, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Kingston is taking a road trip to challenge South Iron at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Herculaneum, they will challenge North County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
