Baseball Recap: Thomaston Comes Up Short

Thomaston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-5 to the Kaynor Tech Panthers.

Lucas Koval was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Patchell, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Thomaston's record now sits at 2-7. As for Kaynor Tech, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomaston will welcome Northwestern Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Kaynor Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Prince RVT at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
