Softball Recap: North River Christian Victorious

North River Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Southern Christian Patriots on Friday, sneaking past 4-3. For the Chargers, this counts as revenge for the 4-2 victory the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Gracie Dice, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Southern Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, North River Christian will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Coosa Valley Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southern Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Fort Dale Academy at 2:00 p.m. on February 28th.
