Recap: Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls vs. Concord Spiders
The Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls entered their tilt with the Concord Spiders with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Hickory Ridge blew past Concord, posting a 88-16 win at home. That's another feather in the cap for Hickory Ridge, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Hickory Ridge can attribute much of their success to Katie Woodward, who scored 27 points. Miranda Duley was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Hickory Ridge's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Concord, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Hickory Ridge will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Northwest Cabarrus at 1:00 p.m. As for Concord, they will head out on the road to face off against Carson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Carson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 on Tuesday.
