It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oak Mountain Academy can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Augusta Prep Cavaliers on Saturday. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Oak Mountain Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-19.

Oak Mountain Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Augusta Prep, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-13.

While Oak Mountain Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
