Smidt Tech entered their tilt with Alliance Ted K. Tajima on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Wolverines 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Grey Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Smidt Tech not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Alliance Ted K. Tajima between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Angela Rodriguez, who had six aces and one block.

Rodriguez wasn't the only good server: Smidt Tech was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 17 aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Smidt Tech's record now sits at 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Smidt Tech will square off against Aspire Ollin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alliance Ted K. Tajima, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Neuwirth Leadership Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
