Baseball Recap: Kennett Find Success

Kennett posted their closest win since March 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Greenville Bears. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Cash Franklin, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Zayne Franklin also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

The victory got Kennett back to even at 3-3. As for Greenville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennett will face off against Twin Rivers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenville, they will welcome Meadow Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
