Basketball Recap: Chelan Comes Up Short

Chelan was the 53-46 winner over Royal when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Chelan Mountain Goats came up short against the Royal Knights on Saturday, falling 51-28.

Chelan's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Royal, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chelan will welcome Brewster at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Brewster knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Chelan likes a good challenge. Royal has already played their next game (against Connell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
