Recap: Argyle Scots vs. Fort Ann Cardinals
The Argyle Scots entered their tilt with the Fort Ann Cardinals with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Argyle simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Fort Ann 86-37 at home. With Argyle ahead 50-12 at the half, the game was all but over already.
When it comes to explaining why Fort Ann lost, one person who can't be blamed is Javier Hernandez. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. Alejandro Stowhas was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five rebounds.
Argyle pushed their record up to 3-0 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.8 points per game. As for Fort Ann, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Argyle will be home for the holidays to greet Corinth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Ann will take on Fort Edward at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
