Basketball Recap: Dunkerton Skates Past East Buchanan with Ease

Dunkerton won against Rockford last Tuesday with 85 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Dunkerton Raiders blew past the East Buchanan Buccaneers 85-28. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 329th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dunkerton's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.8 points. As for East Buchanan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Dunkerton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 91-33 win against Tripoli on the 24th. As for East Buchanan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 48-47 victory against Edgewood-Colesburg on the 24th.
