Volleyball Game Preview: Calipatria Hornets vs. Calexico Bulldogs

Calipatria is 1-9 against Calexico since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Hornets will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Calipatria sitting on three straight wins and Calexico on four.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Calipatria and San Luis, and Calipatria kept the tradition alive. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sidewinders on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Calexico made easy work of Palo Verde Valley on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-12.

Calexico's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Calipatria, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
