Baseball Recap: Kennett Comes Up Short

Kennett lost against Oxford back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blue Demons fell 11-6 to the Hornets.

Alexis Laboy made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Rex Bright, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Kennett's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Oxford, their record now sits at 5-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kennett will challenge rival Great Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oxford is set to square off against their familiar foe Henderson at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
