Soccer Game Preview: Jordan-Matthews vs. Southeast Alamance

The Jordan-Matthews Jets will venture away from home to challenge the Southeast Alamance Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Jordan-Matthews managed to slip by Montgomery Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Jordan-Matthews came up short against Montgomery Central on Tuesday, falling 6-0.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Southeast Alamance's offense. They fell just short of Northwood by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The Stallions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan-Matthews' defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Southeast Alamance, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Jordan-Matthews suffered a grim 8-3 defeat to Southeast Alamance in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Jordan-Matthews avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
