Volleyball Game Preview: Clover Blue Eagles vs. Ridge View Blazers

The Clover Blue Eagles will face off against the Ridge View Blazers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Clover is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight matches on Thursday. They came up short against Catawba Ridge, falling 3-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Catawba Ridge scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.

Bryn Turlington put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had 13 digs and three assists.

Meanwhile, Ridge View lost 3-0 to Blythewood on Thursday.

While Ridge View ultimately came up short, they really made Blythewood work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Clover's defeat dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Ridge View, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10-1.
